As a project manager, you will play an essential role in helping EA achieve our mission of creating more equitable educational and workplace settings by leading the logistical and administrative aspects of our multi-faceted projects from initiation to completion. Project Managers work closely with the project teams to ensure timely implementation of the designed scope of work across all of our service lines, including research and development, technical assistance, field building, and consulting projects.

Our Project Managers own the delivery of our work to clients, managing complex projects ranging from short term consulting engagements to the management of multi-site, multi-year empirical research projects. They do the important work of making sure there are clear expectations around all the steps needed to achieve our internal team’s + external client’s goals, tracking each piece with transparent owners and due dates. They keep the project team aligned, and understand and mitigate risks to the plan.

Equity at the center: Willing to engage with and help dismantle the role of social structures, systems, and environments in producing educational and workplace disparities by race, gender, socioeconomic status, and other identities. Willing to examine and identify potential for bias and actively works to minimize inequities in research, product development, team decisions, policies, and processes.

Manages a high volume of work with efficiency: Utilizes EA systems (or creates systems as needed) for keeping tasks from slipping through the cracks. Demonstrates strong time management skills and is able to juggle competing demands and prioritize without sacrificing quality. Plans ahead to make deadlines, and finds alternative paths, when needed, to get to the finish line. Bounces back from setbacks. Holds a high bar even when things are hectic.
