Equity Accelerator’s interdisciplinary team brings scientific knowledge, research design, and execution together to help colleges, universities, and companies create equitable and inclusive environments. We believe that sustainable, impactful change comes from inclusive and cross-disciplinary teams and partnerships that center the expertise and experiences of the people closest to the challenges we’re trying to address.

Our small but mighty team works flexibly together in support of our mission to ensure that all people should thrive in their school and workplace settings. We care about our work, and we care about each other.

EA is looking for dedicated, thoughtful, and solutions-oriented people to help us build equitable learning and workplace cultures where all individuals thrive.

JOIN OUR TEAM

We aspire to address systemic inequities in everything we do by applying an equity lens to research, collaborations, and team culture. We acknowledge and condemn historical and ongoing inequalities across lines of difference, and are committed to creating environments where people from all backgrounds are valued, respected, and thrive. We’re consistently working to better incorporate equitable policies and practices into all aspects of our organization. And we don’t do it alone – we regularly partner with other equity focused organizations to implement best practices.

Our values are central to the work we do and also how we do it together

What We Value

EQUITY

culture of growth

When people have the support and resources they need to succeed, they thrive. We believe in life long learning, and commit to supporting each other's development, understanding our failures, growing from our mistakes, and viewing challenges as positive learning opportunities. As a team member at EA, you can expect clear expectations, constructive feedback, and opportunities to grow.

Person first

We value our colleagues, clients, and collaborators as whole people, whose lives extend beyond our work together. We respect and support each other as individuals with personal goals, experiences, interests, and preferences. Our workplace is committed to flexibility for employees, understanding that they are multi-faceted individuals with responsibilities and pursuits outside of their jobs. We understand the value of people’s lived experiences, so we bring our whole selves to work.

  • Our entire team participates in equity-focused professional development trainings.
  • We have open, reflective and actionable discussions about our progress on equity and diversity initiatives.
  • Our leadership team values our staff’s input, and regularly asks for feedback and collaboration on decision making (we wrote these values together).
  • We commit to assessing the equity of our organizational practices and policies, and fix them when they don't meet the mark.
